Here’s your invitation to Gallerie 13 in downtown Mechanicsburg for an evening of wine and cheese, live music, friends and great art –  Friday August 6th from 6 – 9 PM at 13 East Main St.   One of the featured artists there for the month of August is YBC member, Erin Keck.  She takes the gears that were once used as a workhorse in a clock and then uses them as the decorative embellishments in her Steampunk Clocks.  In her Copper Journals; the copper that was meant to be used in roofing has been formed and colored with patina to become the cover of a cherished heirloom.  For more information or directions to First friday at Gallerie 13, visit their site, http://www.gallerie13.com/   While you’re there, you’ll be able to see Roxan O’brien’s work too.  To find out more about Erin, visit her two Etsy sites; one for unique and artful gifts- E.K.Creations and one for all of your vintage supply needs-E.K.Supplies
