We are proud to share some exciting news! Beverlee Lehr, member of the board of directors and juried member of our mothership, the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, is one of the fine artists showcased in the Inaugural Exhibit of the Pennsylvania Arts, an exhibition that celebrates the wide-reaching impact on arts and culture that has been and continues to be exerted by Pennsylvania artists.
Hanging with works by the likes of icons like NC and Andrew Wyeth, Andy Warhol, Thomas Eakins, Charles Demuth, Horace Pippin and Benjamin West and contemporary artists such as Joe Farrell , Daniel Ricardo Teran and Catherine Prescott, is Lehr’s ceramic sculpture, Bishop.
The exhibit, which will hang in the State Museum through Sunday, February 15, 2015, includes over fifty works from some forty institutions, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Barnes Foundation, The Andy Warhol Museum, The Brandywine River Museum, The Carnegie Museum of Art, The State Museum and other institutions from across the commonwealth. The opportunity to see these varied important works in a single exhibition is one not to be missed.
